I was fortunate enough to grow up in a very happy household. I am an only child and am very happy to be so. I have two wonderful parents, Chesley Gray Black III (Sonny) and Teresa Hannon Black of Lincolnton, NC. We have a great relationship and I love them very much. My grandparents are Chesley Gray Black, Jr. (C.G.)-deceased and Janette Haynes Black; and James Thomas Hannon (J.T.)-deceased and Lillie Smith Hannon, all of Lincolnton, NC. They have always been very supportive of me and I love them dearly. My dad has one brother, Dennis Gray Black. Dennis is married to Rebecca Fox Black (Becky) and they live in Lincolnton, NC. They have three children, Dennis Gray Black, Jr. (Denny) and Betsy Lou Black Broome and Bonnie Ann Black Gunnell (twins). Denny is married to Hollie Kistler Black and they have one daughter, Hallie Eva Black. They also live in Lincolnton, NC. Betsy is married to Scott Broome and they have one daughter, Makenna Lou Broome. They live in Concord, NC. Bonnie is married to Steven Gunnell and they live in Cherryville, NC. My mother has one brother, James Thomas Hannon, Jr. (Tommy), and three sisters, Vanessa, Regina (Gina), and Lisa. Tommy and his wife Joan live in Lincolnton, NC and they have three children, Amber, Amanda and Alidia. Vanessa is married to Lane Ross and they live in Concord, NC. Vanessa has one daughter, Jamie Nichole Wilcox Bowman. Gina is married to Toby Mundy and they live in Denver, NC on the shores of Lake Norman. Lisa lives in Lincolnton, NC and has one daughter, Tracy Lynn Cloer Ward. Jamie is married to Nikki Bowman and they have one daughter, Halle Shay Bowman. They live in Nashville, TN. Tracy is married to Charlie Ward and they have one daughter, Kaylee Dawn Ward. They live in Lincolnton, NC. My life has been filled full of wonderful vacations with my entire family, day trips and activities. Some of the places we have all been together include: Myrtle Beach, SC; Nashville, TN; Gatlinburg, TN; Pigeon Forge, TN; Orlando, FL and several more.
